Critical Hit and Fumble Cards
When a critical threat is rolled naturally on the die (and would hit your foe), you will reroll to confirm the critical against the target’s AC. If the critical confirms then you draw a Critical Hit card and apply the results from the card instead of dealing double damage. If your weapon has a critical multiplier of x3 then you will draw two cards and apply which one you want.
When a natural “1” is rolled on the die, reroll the die again as if you were making the same attack. If the attack would hit the target’s AC then you recover. If the attack misses, the fumble is confirmed and you will draw a Critical Fumble card and apply the results from the card.
